Sorin Caliniuc, the samurai of GLORY.
It was only a matter of time before Sorin Caliniuc stepped into the GLORY ring, where Romania had only one representative, Benny Adegbuyi. However, the two fighters would not be able to face each other directly. While Adegbuyi is in the heavyweight category, Caliniuc, being lighter, competes in the lightweight division.
The resident of Bucharest, a big fan of FCSB, completely dominated the competition in Romanian promotions, achieving an astonishing record of 11 wins and 0 losses in just four years! The only setback came in his GLORY debut on February 11th when two out of three judges saw the Belgian fighter, Arman Hambaryan, as the better competitor.
